Another day
@ Home..
As I started to feel comfortable staying alone in my brother’s house which id approx 1500 sq ft .Staying alone was not new to me because I love being alone and make my own spaces . I had to draft a plan of how to spend the time in home during the holidays from 22nd to 24th of April the weekend and then I’ll have to go to office and my class that becomes regular and to say the truth it’s good to be with someone in the house since all that you sow will only reap say if I leave my cloths on the couch and when I return I find it in the same place, the point is I leave my wet towel either on the dinning table or on the floor where I dress up so when I return home and take the same one for bathing in the evening the smell hmm., the foul smell hope you understand. All these things are there but the pleasure is when you finish all the job and settle down the oven sounds saying that all food items are hot and ready to eat.. ummm the dinner after hard work I mean after keeping all things back to their original places and you should have a look before and after cool this is home…
It happened to me
Planned to post on 25th May 2011
What happened today was planning to go to KO alone but suddenly I rang up to my friend who used to accompany in most of my sudden trips at Coimbatore so thought he might also come to watch the movie but he had to take one of his clients to lunch I mean he had to accompany them so he asked for a nice vegetarian hotel so I suggested one near his office where I used to go once in a week. But since I was already out of home for the movie told him I’ll wait at the entrance of the hotel so that you people need not waste time searching where it is in the crowded streets of Anna nagar. Then here comes the twist my friend with his colleagues arrive and just to enter the hotel premises the watchman comes out and says sir its closed. How stupid of me was at the entrance for almost half an hour could have asked whether it’s open or not. Okie., guided him to a non-vegetarian hotel and I left the place. To my surprise I reached home to find with all huffs and puffs my plan was shattered no movie and so I decided to take the car out saw that the back tire was flat and had worn out so no car for another 15-20 days.

The black hole of time
May 2009 brought a welcome change to my life when I got rid of the TV. The outcome was so good I had to make another big change last month. I deactivated my facebook account. Yeah, that’s right. No more facebook, aka I don’t exist anymore.
I had fun while it lasted. Social networks are nice when it comes to keeping in touch with friends. But in the name of entertainment, there lies a slippery path of addiction. Status of friends. Like the status. Comments to those statuses. Like the comments. Status of the commenters. The list goes on. The distraction model is astonishingly successful. The red bubble for new comments is impossible to not click, even if that means I will end up partly re-reading the whole comment thread.
There is a bigger problem than this ginormous time sink mechanism. As the friend network grows, status updates become more trivial, since it is harder to write any serious or controversial thought for fear of offending a few good friends. Passivity here we come.
Twitter shall remain as my status update tool for it has yet to make unproductive use of my time. Somehow I find it more useful due to the high quality tweets I enjoy from a handpicked list of people.
I am sure facebook is the ultimate social tool for many, but if care is not taken, much of one’s time will be wasted without doubt. And time is much more precious than money.
Adios, Facebook.
